The invention relates to a means of capping containers and can be used to make a cap from sheet metal for sealing glass or plastic beverage bottles.
The aim of the invention is to improve the reliability of the closure in the case of closing the bottles with carbonated liquids or sterilizing non-carbonated beverages in autoclaves.

The cap works as follows.
When forming the closure cap and placing it on the bottle, it is necessary to place the cap in the split collet and empty it on the bottle. The cap is pressed against the end of the bottle with sufficient force to slightly deform the ring. The upper edge 15 takes the form of a rounded rim of the bottle increasing the radius of curvature. To ensure the self-ventilation effect, an aluminum sheet of the usual composition with a thickness of 140-250 µm is used. In the process of formation, mechanical hardening takes place, or on aluminum, which, alone or in combination with hardening in the process of packing the closure cap on the bottle, creates the condition for obtaining the effect of self-ventilation.
